Kale Chips


After a weekend of indulgence along the Columbia River in Washington, I returned home, determined to eat healthy this week. (Life is all about balance, right?!) These ridiculously easy kale chips are the perfect snack when you're craving something crunchy, salty, spicy or savory. You can make each batch a little different depending on your cravings. The recipe below is for basic kale chips with salt and pepper to taste, but really, the flavor possibilities are endless. Let me know what your favorite flavor combinations are! xo. Anna -Kale Chips- Ingredients: 1 bunch of green kale 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil Salt and Pepper to taste Directions: 1.) Preheat oven to 325°F 2.) Remove the stems and ribs from the kale and cut leaves into 2 inch pieces. 3.) Toss kale chips with olive oil, salt, and pepper (or other seasonings) in large bowl. 4.) Place kale on baking sheet, making sure the leaves don't overlap. 5.) Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until chips are crunchy. 6.) Let cool for five minutes before removing from baking sheet. 7.) Enjoy!
